A third generation coffee grower, Ibrahim Hussein has made a name for himself producing coffee at the Burka Gudina estate.
This washed arabica coffee is de-pulped and then fermented for 72 hours before being sun dried on raised beds. Using the traditional methods for processing coffee beans in Ethiopia, Ibrahim has elevated the expectations for the area around Djimma and the quality possible for green coffee from Western Ethiopia.
Look for fresh citrus like orange, and subtle florals throughout and delicate warm spice finish at lighter roast profiles.
