Moka Java
Moka Java
The first popular coffee blend in European Coffee houses was the Moka Java Blend. At this time almotst all coffee coming to Europe was coming from Yemen's port of Moka, and the Dutch colonial island of Java. The blend was simply called Moka Java to signify the types of coffee that had blended together to create the coffee.
In our case, we're not using coffee from either Moka or Java specifically, but we have selected coffees that have very similar flavor attritubutes to the classic coffees selected to give you a fun reinterpretation of this classic profile.
We suggest you roast this coffee about half way between first and second crack, to just before second crack to maximize the sweetness and body, while stil preserving the funky and fruity tones of this coffee blend.
